Today’s renting versus buying
It is simply amazing to me what it cost to rent a home
today. Just the other day I was showing a small 2 bedroom apartment for rent
that’s listed at $1950 a month. Earlier in the week I was showing a home that
is listed at $2850 a month and it’s just a 3 bedroom town-home. Seems crazy huh?
I am also currently working with a client who is looking to
purchase a home for $600,000 or less. In the South Orange county area that is
definitely a possibility. The monthly payments on a home for this price could
be as low as $2291 per month. Of course type of loan, how much you put down and
other items are all taken into consideration.
But just the mere possibility
that you could purchase a home for less per month or even the same per month as
renting seems to me to be a huge opportunity for anyone that might be
thinking about buying.
